Community Manager

Community Managers are the go-to leaders of our Tiempo team who ensure our properties operate efficiently.

Primary responsibilities are monitoring and maintaining operational budget for property; supervising Assistant Community Manager, Leasing Consultant(s), Maintenance Supervisor, and Maintenance Technician(s) to ensure property meets corporate goals, and assisting Regional Manager as-needed. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. All staff will be neat, cleanly-groomed, and wear professional suiting, which includes jacket or sweater, blouse or shirt, pants or skirt, shoes, and name tag in accordance with Tiempo Personnel Policy and Procedures.

Candidates must have a college degree and a minimum of two years of verifiable experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager. Applicants who are Certified Apartment Managers are preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate abilities in operating properties within financial guidelines and Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards, leasing properties using effective sales techniques, implementing resident retention programs, generating owner reports using property management software, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written), and ability to work well in a high-pressure, team environment.

Assistant Community Manager

Assistant Community Managers are the on-site faces of our Tiempo team who interact with our residents and prospects daily.

Primary responsibilities are renting apartments, maintaining rental records, and assisting Community Manager as-needed. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. Leasing Consultant

Leasing Consultants are the on-site faces of our Tiempo team who interact with our prospects daily.

Primary responsibilities are renting apartments, maintaining rental records, and assisting Community Manager as-needed. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. Service Coordinator

Service Coordinators are the lifesavers of our Tiempo team, because they work one-on-one with our elderly and disabled residents to ensure they are able to live as independently as possible.

Primary responsibilities are interfacing with social agencies and residents to meet the quality-of-life needs of our residents. All staff will be neat, cleanly-groomed, and wear professional suiting, which includes jacket or sweater, blouse or shirt, pants or skirt, shoes, and name tag in accordance with Tiempo Personnel Policy and Procedures.

Candidates must have a Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, or Healthcare Administration and previous experience as a Service Coordinator and have completed the Professional Service Coordinator (PSC) certification program. Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a familiarity with local networks providing social and supportive services (ex: meals-on-wheels, transportation, home health aides, financial assistance, counseling, preventive health screening, etc.); excellent customer service (help residents interpret mail, Social Security earnings, insurance billing, death or survivors’ benefits, other “bureaucratic” challenges); ability to conduct resident training sessions on topics such as state and area agencies on aging, American Association of Retired Persons, National Council on the Aging, senior centers, councils on aging, legal services offices, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.; advocacy to provide the best results for our residents; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written); and ability to work well in a high-pressure, team environment.

Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisors are the backbone of our Tiempo team, because they are responsible for maintaining our buildings year-round to ensure our residents enjoy the best time of the life.

Primary responsibilities are keeping the physical property in good, working condition and assisting Community Manager as-needed. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. All staff will be neat, cleanly-groomed, and wear work shirt, work pants, shoes, and name badge in accordance with Tiempo Personnel Policy and Procedures.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of verifiable experience as a maintenance supervisor. Applicants who are Certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians and who have earned HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) Certification are preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a general knowledge of all maintenance areas and excellent management skills (able to schedule multiple requests while ensuring Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards are met), strong organizational skills (familiarity with inventorying and ordering supplies and equipment needed), and flexibility (able to handle all tasks in a timely fashion and work on an on-call basis). Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Supervisors are the heroes of our Tiempo team, because they are responsible for meeting the daily service requests of our residents in a timely and efficient manner with high-quality, professional work.

Grounds Keeper

Grounds keepers are the exterior stars of our Tiempo team, because they are responsible for maintaining the curb appeal that attracts our prospects and the park-like atmosphere that our residents expect.

Primary responsibilities are maintaining the exterior grounds and landscaping of entire community and assisting Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor as-needed. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. House Keeper

Primary responsibilities are cleaning laundries, recreation rooms, offices, models, and vacant units, and assisting Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor as-needed. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. Successful candidates will demonstrate a general knowledge of all housekeeping areas including maintaining cleaning supplies, general cleaning of bedrooms and living rooms, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, polishing furniture, washing windows, keeping equipment clean and in good working condition, familiarity with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards, and be able to work on an on-call basis. Courtesy Patrol Officer

Courtesy Patrol Officers are the peace-of-mind brigade of our Tiempo team, because they are responsible for ensuring the safety of residents and the tranquility of communities.

Primary responsibilities are monitoring all activities throughout the community and reporting any unusual occurrences or visitors to Community Manager and police as appropriate; locking entrance doors, security gates, laundry rooms, and pool gates at designated time every evening; and conducting nightly inspections of common area exterior doors. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary. All staff will be neat, cleanly-groomed, and wear patrol shirt, patrol pants or shorts, patrol hat, shoes, and name badge in accordance with Tiempo Personnel Policy and Procedures.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of two years of verifiable experience as a courtesy patrol officer or police officer or have successfully completed security or military training. Previous experience at an apartment community is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.

Successful candidates will demonstrate ability to maintain daily log of visitors, screen out unwanted guests or intruders, respond immediately to emergency situations, prepare Resident Incident reports, and familiarity with Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards.

Painter

Primary responsibilities are exterior painting (buildings, fencing, curbing, signage), interior painting (laundries, recreation rooms, offices, models, and vacant units), and drywall repair. Position requires the ability to function both inside and outside in all types of weather. Extensive standing, walking, stair climbing, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 20 pounds are all frequently necessary.
